Brief description of the project: Former Homebase facility. Steel frame structure with 100m long spine beam. Our engineering team calculated all the works for demolition and back propping to the beam to enable the demolition team to start the process of high reach demolition, relieving the weight from the spine beam in phase 1 of the demolition process. Once this process was completed it then changed to conventional demolition to top side of slab , this process to 10 weeks and ran to programme.
